The NICOR DLR56508 Black Recessed LED
Downlight is designed for residential and commercial applications. Designed using years of research and customer feedback, the DLR56 downlight is versatile, energy-efficient and affordable, making it ideal for either retrofitting or new construction. Producing over 915 lumens while only drawing 12.2 watts of power, the DLR56 combines efficiency with output, with an expected life of over 60,000
hours. The DLR56508 is dimmable up to 5% with most standard dimmers. Installation is easy with the included IDEAL Quick-Connect along with an Edison base adapter. The DLR56508 is Energy Star rated, Insulation-Contact
rated, Airtight, and Wet-Location rated for use in bathrooms and
showers. The DLR56 is available in 2700K,
3000K, 4000K, or 5000K. Take a look below to see

Construction:
- Spun aluminum trim routes heat away from electrical components
- Ultra low profile, integrated driver designed for DLR56 frame use
- Airtight when used with DLR56 frame
- Also allows for retrofit into shallow housings
Optical System:
- Polystyrene
diffuser and reflector cone create a uniform light distribution that
reduces glare without sacrificing lumen output
- Increased trim depth provides lower glare and a quieter ceiling
Electrical:
- Utilizes high performing LEDs with greater than 90 CRI and an R9 greater than 60 (not available in 5k)
- Dimmable to 5% with compatible TRIAC dimmers
- Thermally protected, high efficiency Class 2 driver standard
- Operating temperature rating of 0°F to 120°F (-18°C - 49°C)
- Input voltage of 120VAC
- Lifetime rated for greater than 60,000 hours
- LM-79 testing performed in accordance with IESNA standards
- Meets FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B standards for conducted and radiated emissions
Finish:
- Exterior white powder coat finish
- Available accessory trim covers in Black, Oil-Rubbed Bronze and Nickel
- Baffle version available (on 800lm version only)
