NICOR 17009A 6 Inch Airtight Housing for New Construction Applications

The NICOR 17009A six-inch IC rated housing is suitable for new construction in residential and commercial applications and for direct contact with insulation. The airtight housing limits the exchange of air between ceiling plenum and heated/cooled areas. Integral thermal guards protect against improper lamping and with lamp wattage ratings and apertures based off trim selection. The housing adjusts from 1/2” to 1 1/2” to accommodate ceiling thickness and its 7 3/4” height allows it to be used in 2” x 8” joist construction.
